Art From Our Favorite Books - Grades 1+ SOLD OUT

JUNE 24 - 28; GRADES 1+

Art From Our Favorite Books - We will be combining two of my favorite activities for children in this camp - the love of art and reading. Characters and settings from a variety of favorite childrens/young adult books will provide the inspiration for our varied art creations this week. We will include both classic and contemporary books for inspiration and encourage campers to share their favorites with us. In addition, we will look at how artists draw pictures to go with stories and campers will create their own illustrated book. During the week, we  will go on walking field trips to both Northshire Bookstore and the Manchester Community Library. Instructors: Stacy Gates & Kate Franklin

JULY 15 - JULY 19; GRADES 1+
