Introduction to Painting & Color Theory

Master painters know that with every painting there is more to learn about color. We’ll begin simple with the basics, then move towards a more complex understanding that reveals how exciting color study can be! Using acrylic and watercolor, we’ll have fun first getting comfortable with basic painting techniques. Then we'll move through some color study exercises that we can later use in our own individual paintings, on paper, canvas, and board. Students will have much freedom in choosing their own topics for painting, and are encouraged to bring in any independent work for feedback. No previous painting experience required.

Instructor: Stacy Gates

$125 for 5 weeks (all supplies and materials are included)
